Featuring our custom-made Dillon’s strawberry rhubarb vodka, our Wine Gummie recipe is inspired by the Caipiroska, a classic cocktail from South America. Fun fact: it was actually created by our friends at Leña, our sister restaurant!

Incorporating a macerated blend of fresh rhubarb from the Dillon’s garden and local strawberries from their Niagara neighbours, the resulting vodka is clean with a subtle tartness. If you’re looking for a well-balanced, easy-to-drink AND easy-to-make cocktail, look no further. Some might even say this strawberry rhubarb cocktail is as easy as pie!

Maison Selby Wine Gummie Cocktail
Ingredients

1.5oz Dillon’s strawberry rhubarb vodka
1.5oz pomegranate juice
0.25oz demerara syrup (the same proportions as basic simple syrup [1:1], this syrup swaps in demerara cane sugar for a deeper, caramel-like flavour)
3 lime wedges
1.5 strawberries

Directions

Muddle strawberries and lime wedges in a shaker and add your strawberry rhubarb vodka and pomegranate juice. Shake with ice and dirty pour (don’t strain!) into a rocks glass. Garnish with a slice of strawberry.
